The Intel core i7

The core i7 is Intels x64 64 bit desktop processor based on Intel's Nehalem microarchitecture consisting upto 2-6 HyperThreaded processing cores.These are High-end Desktop processors based on Intel's 45nm technology, having core speed upto 1.6Ghz to 3.64 ghz & processing speeds upto 4.8 to 6.4 GT/s(GigaTransfers/Second),12 MB of cache, Turbo-Boost and Intel QuickPath connection bus. The first release will be the Core i7 980X in Q1 2010
